Robert Scavone Jr. created Summarily. He is an appellate lawyer at Florida Appeals. Before joining the firm, Robert served as a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Honorable Barbara Lagoa on Florida's Third District Court of Appeal.

Following his clerkships, Robert was a litigation associate at two national law firms, and he served as a prosecutor in Palm Beach County (2017-22). Robert is a member of The Florida Bar's Appellate Court Rules Committee and a member of the Broward County Bar Association's board of directors. He teaches Florida Constitutional Law and Professional Responsibility as an adjunct lecturer at FIU Law.

Jennifer Watson Opiola is a partner at Reynolds Parrino Shadwick, P.A., where she specializes in PIP litigation defense and appeals. She is experienced in motor vehicle liability, coverage questions, personal injury protection, appeals, and criminal defense.

Prior to private practice, Jennifer served as an assistant public defender in the Fourth and Sixth Judicial Circuits, where she tried 25 cases to verdict.  She earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida in 2005 (magna) and her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2010.

Joni Mosely is an experienced litigator who has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2003. Joni has handled personal injury, medical malpractice, auto accidents, negligent security, premises liability, automobile negligence, false arrest, malicious prosecution, wage theft, overtime, and discrimination cases in both state and federal court.  ​

Before starting her own firm, Joni served as an Assistant Miami-Dade County Attorney and rose to the position of Chief of the Tort and Medical Malpractice Litigation Section. As an Assistant County Attorney, Ms. Mosely also represented Miami-Dade County and Jackson Health System in employment discrimination matters in both federal and state court, and before administrative agencies.

Lindsey Lawton is an appellate attorney and founder of Lawton Law. She is also “of counsel” for The Brownlee Law Firm of Orlando, Florida.

Prior to starting Lawton Law in November 2020, she served as a career staff attorney to Justice Alan Lawson of the Florida Supreme Court. Before that, she was a career staff attorney to Judge Stephanie Ray and a senior law clerk to Judge Joseph Lewis, Jr., of Florida’s First District Court of Appeal. Lindsey spent nearly four years at the supreme court and nearly ten years at the district court. During that time, she evaluated hundreds of appeals and extraordinary writ petitions.
